I have 50 blocks done for my bug jar quilt It's going good, but I think I"ll only have about 60 prints total. What do you think about repeating bug patterns? Or should I continue to look. I know that in an I-Spy they are all supposed to be different. Or could I trade someone if anyone has extras? My little Gracie is learning to quilt very well, even for a 3 month old!

Not set together yet - just on the floor for a preview

I love this... It would have been perfect for my little boy because he was such in love with bugs, any kind! Now, he is 30 years old.. and doesn't play with bugs anymore!

Great idea. I'm so close to it that I hadn't considered how different that would look. I made the patterns for the tall one and and squatty short one myself just for variety.

I don't have an answer to your question. I have a pink background with dragonflys on it I think. Blue and maybe purple too. I can cut off a piece for you if you want. Just send me a PM with your address.

The quilt is looking great.

It's adorable!!! If you need to repeat, could you cut a different section so it looks different? I'm going to go check for bugs. If I find some I'll let you know. Too Cute!

I have a cream background with large bugs and butterflies in very vibrant colors that I bought in 2001. I can send some to you. You could probably get about 8 or 10 different bugs out of it. PM me with your address if you'd like it. It's been in the drawer for years, as my daughter had a jumper out of it for kindergarten...she's now going into 8th grade, so I'll toss it in the washer again.

ETA: I can take a pic of it tomorrow, with a ruler, so you could see if the size will work for you, and if you like the fabric.
