Excited about my trip and giving these guilts to family ...
My trip back to New York to visit family is approaching and I'm so excited to have two of three quilts finished to bring back with me. My nephew has 3 grandchildren - 1 boy, CJ who will be 3 in September; 2 girls (sisters), Demi and Avery - almost 5 and almost 3. I can't wait to give them their quilts! Demi's quilt is still with my dear friend who does the long arm quilting. I think she did a wonderful job on the quilting. The quilt is the same daisy pattern & materials (Honey Honey by Kate Spain for Moda) , but arranged differently. I'll post a picture when it is all done. I had such a great time doing these quilts. Smiled through the whole process!! And I'm still smiling! Hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.

I'm flying into Wilkes-Barre, Pa and then driving to a small town in Sullivan County called Hortonville. Where are you located? I was born in Queens, but we moved to the country when I was 5 1/2. Still have family in Long Island and upstate. We moved west in 1986, but I miss the east coast. That's where my heart is ...
