Excited!!!!
Oh my goodness! My dear friends Gordon and George had their baby last night - a little boy - as yet no name chosen. Poor George was 10 days overdue and they had to induce her, in the end there were complications and she had to have a c-section. Mother and baby doing well now though.
I am going to stay with them (they live in Ayr, Scotland) next weekend, so I now have exactly 7 days to put a border and binding on the baby quilt I have made. I was holding off until I knew the sex of the baby (they had chosen not to know from the scans). So now I know I have to go to Hobbycraft tomorrow and buy BLUE material!
Am excited and happy from the arrival of the baby, but also am SO looking forward to finishing my first ever quilt. Nervous about it too though. I don't think there is a quilting 'how to' site that is unread by me!
I'll post pictures when it is done!
Hope everyone has a good weekend
Mary
