LAF2019, That is what my daughter said about the mistake. I may leave it and call it open for love.

Your quilt looks great. However if it was mine, I would be fixing the mistake because that is the only thing I would see every time I saw the quilt and it would drive me crazy!

Beautiful quilt! I've never tried one of these Exploding Hearts either, so can't help you on lining up the blocks. But does any quilt ever line up perfectly??

Beautiful and a lot of pieces. I find a design wall, or floor works best for me and I label each row, then carefully take them down one row at a time. I am notoriously angle challenged however and have been noted to turn triangles when I get to the machine, so it can definitely happen. It's lovely however and only change that square if it bothers you.

What a beauty! I am not sure I would fix the open block either, suz.

If it really bothers you, then take that one block out and fix it. But there are so many variations of blocks in that pattern, it doesn't really feel like a mistake. It looks like a happy, uplifting quilt. Nice job!
