    Here is the finished (maybe) quilt top. My DH wants a brown border so I added it in between but now I am wondering if I should or should not put the outer brown border as well. Thought? Which do you prefer?

    I Love that pattern and golor choices :mrgreen: I kind of like the way the brown seperates the border :thumbup:

    Yes, go for the extra row of brown. Makes it look complete. besides, it'll be easier to do the binding on a solid piece than the pieced border!!

    It is purely a personal thing - no right or wrong answers. I would go for another outer border,however, to help frame the quilt - but that is just me.

    BTW I like the quilt - Nice job.

    Thank you so much. :) It is my first that is any real size. The rest have all been lap quilt size, table runners, wall hangings, and other quilted gifts. :) DH loves it so that makes me happy too!
