    I love the additional brown border on the outside edge :D:D:D
    It gives the quilt a more finished look, and it makes the borders look more complex too :wink:
    I would not want to add binding to pieced sections...it would be harder to get them to lay down nice and flat.

    do a brown binding the same width you'd have made the border.

    Great quilt and great colors.
    I vote for a brown border, too.
    And, I do like Patrice's idea and would/will use it.

    I would add the brown border and probably bind it in brown also. Very nice quilt. Great Job!

    What a gorgeous quilt! I like the cool scrappy border between two plain ones--makes it really pop! Your hubby must be so pleased with this piece!!

    Patrice--it's less violent to say "pet two puppies with one hand." :wink: I had to change it years ago because I always felt so badly for the birds. :roll:
