This was a fun project, making fabric embellished bowls and flower style sculptures in Art Quilt meeting. We used sheets of kids foam cut in a wavy circle with fabric sewn on both sides -heat in oven at 300-350 until foam softens, mold around glass bowl and cool. add trims etc. The flower petals are done individually and sewn or glued to a cardboard or wood base. the more quilting the better it shrinks up and curls for a wonderful effect. Caution do not let the foam overheat or burn.
And use an oven mitt to form because it is hot. Moosegirl
