Wonderful tutorial and great blog. I think this would be perfect little gift for quilting friends. It could be used for thread and fabric scraps at sewing machine or to hold seam ripper, thimble, packages of needles, etc.

Geta, thanks for sharing these. I can think of so many ways and so many places where these can be used. These would also make wonderful gifts or party favors and could be filled with wrapped cookies or candies tied up with matching ribbons. What a fantastic way to use leftovers!!! I can't wait to get started on these. Once again you have amazed us all with your talent :)
