Those are cute. I brought the McCalls pattern (3777) when they were 99 cent. Haven't gotten around to making it yet.

My aunt made one of these years ago. It doesn't have any kind of hoop or support, but it has stayed round. I don't know the width of the tubes offhand, but they're more of the fatter kind. It is braided tightly, and it's a tight circle. I'm thinking if you used shorter tubes, it might stay in a circle better.

I really want to make one of these now!

I just measured mine , the smallest one is 13 inches round and doesn't need support...the one in the ring picture above is 24 inches and does need support...I'd stick with the smaller ones, then you only need 42/44" long tubes by 6.5 wide..the other larger ones were about 84 x 10...i think the largest looser woven one is close to 30" kinda big for my house!! I bought 2 50oz bags of polyfil and used it all on the 4 wreaths so figure maybe 3 smaller ones per bag or 2 large

I had forgotten how cute these were. Made them years ago and think I'll try one with my grand daughter this time.
