I saw a you tube on how to wrap beads in fabric, so I took 3 of my favorite batiks and made these necklaces Friday night. Easy , lightweight and fun...here's link to you tube

Those were big in the late 70s. They worked up best in shiny polyester fabrics with pony beads instead of the knots. They were a big seller at bazaars and craft shows. I think I still have one in a drawer.

Very nice in the batiks.
