    You did a super job on the quilt, and I'm sure that your Aunt and Uncle (having been married for 51 years) have childhood memories of kitchen curtains and aprons, and girls' dresses, etc. using those types of fabrics. I'm so happy that they love it! You are a sweetheart to make it and it really looks comfy!

    Thank you. I used cotton batting for the quilt sandwich so that it would take on the vintage look when washed. They are such a nice couple and I am glad that they are happy. It is really stunning in person.
