    I made this top last year. I played around with doing the bow blocks in rails and 4-patches. I have now seen this concept come up in alt variations for the 10 min block.

    I would like to see someone do the background sqs in strings or crumbs.

    Mine are 8 finished blocks.- cw

    Okay, I'm trying to follow this technique. Did you use rails, 2 strips per block, for the four main blocks?

    I like your choice of colors and rectangles. Nice job!!

    I wanted a RW&B. I pulled 2 1/2" strips in red and white (for me Pink to dark Red and Cream- Beige-lt browns)

    I sewed Width of Fabric one red and one white. Then sub cut to 4 1/2" These were my rails. I used a 4 1/2" center sq of blue.

    About half way through I miss cut a bunch of my R&W strips at 2 1/2" so just make them into 4-patches and kept going.
