I had seen some and wanted to make them so i googled...how to make fabric postcards....so much info out there on how to do them and tons of pictures for ideas once you start looking into it...many are quite arsty and that is not me...I wanted them just simple and cute for a little girl...they are so much fun and great way to use little bits of this and that you have in your stash

You can send them in regular mail but they require a regular stamp not postcard stamp and you need to have them hand cancelled...I put mine into envelopes since I am concerned about them getting soiled and I have been adding lollipop or stickers also

Gosh those are cute! What a treasure for your grandaughter to collect. I've wanted to make fabric postcards for a long time. Yours have given me the inspiration to give it a go again!

Hi Sue, your local granddaughters might those left on their doorsteps. Although, since you are a neat Grandma I bet you already do very special things for them. ;)
