    LOL! I think that's fantastic! I have a great niece that just took an interest in quilting (she's 16) and her mother started her out the same way. Her second quilt was an applique and it was fantastic!! Puts my work to shame :cry: But she has a very good teacher, my niece. She is awesome at quilting but applique is her specialty!
    Hope to see a post of your GD first quilt!

    Really like the quilting--"the quilting theme" is so important to the actual quilted piece. There are so many areas to learn to be called a quilter.
