Was this a difficult quilt to make? I started to make on for my sister who wanted a quilt but no blocks - my initial thought was a bargello because I could get the movement that I figured she would like - when I discovered I would have to pick like 20 to 30 fabrics I sort of freaked out! It was overwhelming - I ordered a book and when I got it it was Bargello's With A Twist - I thought I was ordering typical bargello book and it turned out to be a block that you replicate in different fabrics and then you place them to create the flowing patterns - I have finished the quilt top and ready to take to the quilter but am afraid she won't like it. It has taken alot of hours and she is just so picky - I keep telling myself that it's not the only quilt I will ever make her - just the first! But I am still so intimidated.

All of your quilts are amazing! I cant wait to try the bargello pattern but that eagle is so majestic! I gave up and put a pillow on my layout table so my inspector can lay on it, but it does no good. every time I start moving material she decides it is time to help!

all are great--I always think I don't like "fall" colors but then I see a quilt like your bargello and wow! I quickly re-think!

Beautiful quilts, love them all! The bargello is super, but despite the fact that bargellos are my favorite type of quilt, I think I like your Solstice Stars the best. I need to do a quilt like that.
