Great purse!!! Perfect blend of fabric and pattern! An earlier poster was right, other ladies will want to buy it from you!!! Do you have more of that fabric?? You just might have a new job

Very pretty! The colors are beautiful, and style is very sophisticated.

Thank you for the great comments!

The pattern for this purse is called The Nancy Ann http://totesbysandy.com/id82.html You will have to have your quilt shop order it if they don't already carry it.

I want to let you in on a "secret" ...this bag is slouchy BUT if you ADD some stiff Pellon between the layers of the lining and the outside of the purse..it should stand up. Both the lining and the outside fabric has fusible fleece on each but to give the purse some structure, I would add the stiffer pellon to it. "personally"...I would add length to the handle too but the pattern allows you to hold this purse on your shoulder with the purse tucked under your armpit.

I staged the purse for the picture to look more structured by my next one I will add the stiffer pellon to it. I love the shape of this purse too and it only took 3 hours to make it! This includes all of the prep work. It has grommets on the ends btw.

I want to play with this pattern some more..I'll post as I do.

thank you for your interest and comments.
