Default Thought of a brilliant Idea for Puffy Frame

LOL, just something I thought I'd try instead of binding.

I trimmed equally around topper and folded batting and backing in and under to make a stuffed "frame".

I ended up with loose cloth on topper but pressing seemed to help most of it.

WOW, that is a lousy pic. LOL. The quilt ain't too great either!

yw, I wasn't sure it would work, but being new to the quilting world I am not aware of the rules, lol!

btw, I think sewing the decorative stitch on the border, and then trying to do what I was trying to do didn't help much. lol! I also chose to make little leaf applique's for the corners.

very cute quilt, I like the frame around the quilt makes it look like a picture frame around your fall scene. Great job!
