This is the only place that I know of where people will still be awake at this time and I am too excited to sleep and just have to share.
My 30th anniversary is next year, that is our pearl anniversary. What do you get a working man for the pearl anniversary? A trip to a pearl producing nation! My DH lived in Taiwan as a child while his dad was stationed there with the Navy. DH loved it and has always wanted to go back. I figure that I will surprise him on our anniversary with the trip and then we can go the year after that. DH can be in on the planning, it will give me two years to save for the trip, get passports, vaccines and learn to scuba dive. DH is a diver however I am not certified. We live in the Pacific NW and that is cold water diving. I haven't quite gotten over the idea of being that cold on purpose. However, if we are going to Taiwan, I am diving!
I am so excited I just can't sleep. We can spend a few days in Taipai so DH can remanis and then h1ead out to the national parks for birding, diving and other frivolities.
