What a wonderful idea! Our son lived in Taiwan for 4 years after college, teaching English while he learned other dialects. His major was Chinese and Int'l business. He loved it over there and did alot of traveling.

What a wonderful gift - and so thoughtful.

My only comment - you might check with the diving places in the area where you will be. I am sure that you can find them on the web. But most of those places have the classes and stuff to be certified while you are there visiting. That way you get to participate and not have to deal with leaning in the Northwest US.

BTW - Congrats!! DH and I will be married 24 years next Sunday, the 15th.
