Fall wall hanging and...
#1
... new quilt blocks I am working on.
I finished the wall hanging last night. It is a kit given to me by my SQA (ybridgegal) last year. It was so fun making that I purchased three - 1/4 yd. pcs of orange fabric to make two more. I think I will actually use it as a runner on my coffee table. I quilted the back seperate from teh front. I used 30 different stitches off my Janome 6600. Some stitches are thicker than others giving a darker appearance. Overall, I like how it turned out.
The red/green/tan blocks are all finished. I made 28 of each color combo and am machine appliqueing the watermelon seeds on today. This one is fun, too. No two blocks are alike. Hope to have it pieced together by next week.
School books have arrived, so I need to study my homwork.
Enjoy!
