Made this quilt for the local nursing home's fall festival. Made the mistake of using heat and bond - didn't notice until too late that it was ultra hold. When I machine appliqued, it gunked up my needle, broke threads. Thank goodness for threaders on machines.

It is lovely. After a few washings, even the Ultra will soften up.

Lovely. I like the idea of appliqueing (SP?) the leaves after the quilt is put together.

Oh. I love that. I like how they are just random over the quilt. I love leaf quilts. I have made three. But they are different than yours. Great Job!

It's amazing how the leaves made a simple quilt into a spectaular quilt

I wanted to maintain the integrity of the rail fence so appliqueing the leaves later just seemed necessary. Then using varigated thread showed them off. I'm glad you like this quilt.

I love the way the leaves are scattered and sewn after the quilt is together. I also love your color scheme. Beautiful!

Love it. It looks like you just scattered couple of handfuls of leaves on the quilt.
