How amazing. I just made that same quilt for my granddaughter back in July. Yes, a real treasure.

OH! What a treasure to find, make sure you label it ,sounds like the niece is the next in line to have dibs on the quilt.
Thanks for sharing, I know quilts I have from my Mom mean the world to me . They are to go to my grand daughters.

Love it! It's like she is still giving you warm hugs when you wrap up in the quilt!

What a precious treasure indeed to have and to cherish. Oh and Sadie is pretty nice too.

My neice stopped by today. She spent many hours with my mom sewing and talking. They were like best friends. Anyway, when I showed her the quilt, she said Mom told her it was the last quilt her mother made her!! What a treasure! Considering I learned to sew and quilt from my Mom and Grandmother. To actually have one my grandmother hand quilted is beyond measure. I had to share the story with others who would understand the feelings I am going through and how much this quilt means to me.

The second picture shows how much our new pup Sadie has grown. She loves her picture taken too. The third one shows the hand quilting.

Thanks for sharing your time and my memories.
