My friend and I have been quilting for charity, fundraisers and our troops for about 3 years. I finally made my family quilts.

    "A cobbler's wife has no shoes",etc.

I am the same way...we only have about 2 or 3 quilts that have stayed here.

Those are all so pretty and striking!

Sounds familar, seems we are always giving our masterpieces away. Poor family gets left behind...at least you have caught up with your family. My poor family is still waiting.

Your quilts are stunning. Especially like the last one. You must be a very fast quilter.

To Jim's Gem; Please thank your daughter and son for me. I personally was not in the service but have a long record of service members in my family. I don't know that I could have done what they do. I am thankful and proud of all our service personnel.
