    This is a great idea for family reunions. Not only are you raising $$ (for the food or something related to the reunion?????) but someone in the family gets an heirloom!!

    Let us know how much $$ was paid for the quilt, if you don't mind. Did you put a minimum bid on it so the bidder would at least pay the price of the fabric???? Were other things donated/bid on? What type of things? Love this idea. Thanks. Ellen

    What a darling quilt. I have saved several pieces to do bug jars but haven't gotten around to it. Yours is lovely.
