I recently stumbled on that magazine, Australian Patchwork and Quilting. I love it. It has a lot of different quilt ideas. Most not too difficult. I am just finishing a wall hanging from there. Will post pictures later. I plan on subscribing to the magazine as soon as my budget allows.
I love your quilts. I am going to search on line for that issue.

They are both beautiful. Great job.

For the Purple Waves, try measuring it while it's hanging. Maybe it's just an optical illusion that it's not straight.
