    Default Fanny's Fan

This is a variation on Fanny's fan. I added the cornerstones. I used matching sashing because I wanted the fans to look like they were floating. I used scraps from my stash and didn't have enough of the background from the blocks to make the borders with, but I did find the flowered fabric. I'm going to add fleece to the back for warmth and snugglyness (?). ( (I know that isn't a real word but it works for quilts -haha)

My niece asked for a quilt she could use when she goes through her treatments for MS. She said they could last up to 6 hours and she always gets cold. She wanted to know if I could make a part on the back so she could keep her feet warm like a pocket. So after I quilt it, I will fold it up, stitch it so it will be permanent and make the pocket. It will measure 60" X 80" when completed.

That's lovely and will keep your niece nice and cozy especially because of all the love that goes with it. I wish her well.

Very pretty quilt! I like the addition of the corner stones. They set the quilt off just right! Great job....
