Great quilting. Did she share what kind of thread she used? It looks like a thicker thread.

She is amazing! She spoke at our guild several years ago and what an ispiration! Her methods are so cool, I only wish I had a little of her artistic talent!

Someone had bad taste and bad manners. Glad she kept it.
    Beautiful work.

AH, Ravishing Mctavishing, what beauty to behold. She's quite the artist. As for the returned quilt, what can I say? There are clods in our midst, sometimes our talent is wasted on them. Delighted Karen kept it.

I've heard some of the ladies in our guild talk about McTavishing but didn't know what it meant. Now I know! Thanks for sharing!

I would have kept it too!!! Why would anyone want to mutilate that beautiful quilt?? To say nothing of how rude and ungrateful they were.

I met Karen and took classes from her at the Home Machine Quilters Show in Salt Lake City a couple of years ago. She is so smart and funny and like you said, someone that you would have wanted to be friends with in high school. Hell, I want to friends with her now. She is so very talented and her classes are excellent. If you ever get the chance to take a class from her, do your best to make it happen.
