    Mine and my daughters thoughts exactly.I called her over to look at the pic and she asked the same qusestion. I would have kept it to.

    I love the double wedding ring quilt. I don't understand why they
    would want the border taken off. That sets it off. I would keep
    it to, too much work not to.

    For sure, someone gives back a quilt I made, I'm keeping it ... the border was just beautiful and took lots of work. The receiver missed out on an heirloom by McTavish! Priceless gift.
