I like your black boarder idea but you could consider maybe a green "leafy" one too in keeping with the theme :)

That would be great!!! Thanks for the idea. I've got the black boarder on already. I've got leafy fabric already and could use that and get it quilted maybe tomorrow. Thanks. :)
Oh....then I could quilt leaves in it and tie it all together....that's so great.

You hit the jackpot on these pack of charms. Like the idea of the black binding. Such a colorful project.

Very nice Hyper. Some folks cut the 5 x 5s in half both directions, then they have 4 - 2.5 x 2.5s. This is a great idea the way you did it for kids to learn veggie names & hopefully want to try they.

I love it - I would have totally made a jar quilt out of it!
I've been collecting good looking fruits and veggies - that's an awesome assortment :)
It's going to make a fabulous table topper when you are done!

Another quick idea...my sons have a picture bingo game with cards that have pictures that match the bingo card (placemat) infront of them. Just an idea for them to pass the time while you are fixing dinner! Just make square cards with similar veggies on them and they can shuffle them and play! Happy stitching :)
