just watched the video for that trim ruler looks like a great tool. I haven't been pleased with my log cabin blocks so haven't done another since I started quilting 2 years ago.

Thanks everyone, some of the questions ask me...yes I quilted it on my Brother DSM, I love FMQ but this pattern is the only one I can do well, so I use it a lot on quilts..

The ruler is really worth the money I paid for it, your blocks come out perfect every time.. and you only have to cut the first square perfect the other strips can be any size as long as it is2 1/4 for the 12 inch block and 1 1/4 for the 6 inch block..they all have to have one side of the strip cut straight, watch the video and see how easy this block is to make..

Your colors and pattern really make this a beautiful quilt. Love Creative Grid rulers. They have increased my accuracy, too! :-)

Really beautiful little quilt. I love the idea of log cabins for a baby quilt. I think you did a terrific job with your fabric/color/pattern choices.
