I use most of mine but the year I turned 60 my wonderful sister bought me 60 fat quarters, one for each year! Not a fabric collection, just random colors and patterns. Forward 7 years and I still can't cut them!

I've fallen in love with FQ bundles. I bought a few from (cough Michael's). LQS shut down 2 yrs ago. Fabric stores have closed to do gentrification. I make sampler quilts so I like the challenge of seeing how many 12 inch blocks I can get from a FQ bundle. Ive decided to try to make my own bundles from my single FQ collection.

Your comments are cracking me up !!
I have a collection as well. I did get rid of a lot of fabric lately though. For me it was too
much and made me nervous. I know that sounds weird for a quilter. I get overwhelmed
easily!

I have four bags of fat quarters & I'm always going through them for various quilts & I'm always adding to them during really good sales. I keep them in those special fat quarter bags with the see-through covers so I can enjoy their beauty all the time.
