I too just finished making that block/pattern. Never thought of making it an "I spy" quilt. Great idea.
Bet your quilt will be loved and used for a long time.

I love what you did with this pattern...right down to what you wrote on the label.Your niece will always feel the comfort and love you put into it. Brilliant idea on usage of this pattern that I love anyway.Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all for such kind words. I had to laugh about the borders. They are made from the "fibro effect" pieces where I cut the first (AND SECOND) batch of the side shadow bars 1/2" too short!

Saw they were half inch too short, thought, dang I must have cut them at 4" instead of 4.5". So went right to cutting a new batch at 4.5". Again too short!!! LOL, what was wrong is that the pink square started at 2" not 2.5", so that's where my half inch was missing. Arghhhhhhhhhhh, so lots of nice pink and black strips to use up.

The shadow pattern always makes me smile. I am going to have to do one of these. Sometime in the future but the list is so long. You did a great job.
