The echoing looks great. Two rows would have been to much. At the time you ask it looked like it needed two rows. It is easy to see how one row did the trick. Beautiful border.

Beautiful border! I'm so glad you showed how you did it. When you posted the first question about picking it out I was trying to follow the path you would have taken, with no luck. All I came up with is that you might have done one pass for the feathers (back and forth) and then another one for the center design but even that didn't seem to work properly. Now I can see why. What a good way to use a stencil.

Template or freehand. You did a job with your quilting. It's lovely. And perfect!
