    Feathers quilt finished

Here is my version of the Feathers quilt pattern. I did put some trees in.
I wished that I have quilted it differently but it is only me who know it (I had hard time figuring a way of quilting so most of it is meander, being almost 3/4 done I had this breakthrough of more suitable FMQ design, but then it was too late). there is always next time.
    Thanks for looking

I really like your choice of fabrics. The white background shows off your scrappy birds and trees. Your border fabric ties it all together. Great Job and the quilting is lovely, also.

Diane007....I have this same pattern. Each bird is build the same way, the only difference is which way it faces, left or right. It's the different material used in each bird that makes them look like different bird species. This is next on my bucket list.

Your quilt is beautiful, i love those sweet birds. I'm like you, will struggle to figure out what to quilt... Decide on something, then have a better idea when it's too late.... Or, I'll choose a safe thread color for quilting, then wish afterwards that I'd been a little bolder. Live and learn, I guess!

That is really very nice. Love your color choices. And, like you, I am always half done with something when a different idea strikes. Go with the flow and just chalk it up to a great mind always reconnecting the same dots in a different way. That's why we are creative!
    Nice job!

I love your quilt. I particularly like the cornerstones used on the sashing. They add order to the quilt. I was just online buying Accuquilt dies and wondered if those are die-cut trees and birds.
