Love it just the way it is!!!! The appliques make a very simple pattern very extraordinary! Flowers by themselves would be nice, but with the kitties it is really super!!!

I totally agree with this statement  I think it is perfect just the way you have it placed. It looks lovely on that bed too.

What colors will your OBW be, do you know? :-D

Thanks so much ladies. alaskasunshine I am deciding between two fabrics for my OBW. It will either be the black and white animals print or a mauve & yellow floral print I found. Guess I better make a decision soon.

How about putting the cats in the center and the flowers in opposet corners of the quilt?

barnbum those are the same cats! I wanted to make that quilt "Stairway To Heaven" but haven't yet so I used a couple of the cats on this one.
Stairway to Heaven is exactly what you just made--it's just the nine patches are smaller.

I love the piecing and the applique. I would move the cat grouping up to the center of the right side so that there is a triangular effect. AT least you are still at a point where you can move the appliques around without having to do a lot of ripping. It is your quilt do what you like. It will still be great no matter where the appliques end up.
