I agree with red borders also. It is really interesting and just vibrates with the Christmas spirit!

This has all the blocks and such that I knew how to make at the time, so its a good sampler for me to use as reference. I think I will hand quilt the top really make it special.

A lovely finish could be a stripe cut on the bias to give the illusion of candy canes. You did a great job, doesn't look like it was done by a beginner.
