A very tasteful wall hanging you have there. Don't worry about the thumbnail orientation - when clicked on, the picture shows correctly.

It was a paper pieced pattern. I chose to do it as foundation piecing. I'm not sure I'd do that again. It came with a few of it's own problems which could have been my lack of experience with foundation piecing.

Patrice, I have a New York Beauty foundation that I have no idea how to do. Can you point me in the direction of some info? I checked Youtube but couldn't find anything. It's like a big panel of blocks. Last time I looked I found nothing. I've had it a long time and figured it would be an easier way to make that block.

I really had no idea what I was doing (thus some of the problems). I just drew the paper pieced diagram on muslin and sewed on it as I would paper piecing.

[QUOTE=cashs_mom;8449722]And a few dollars short. Story of my life . . .

But I finished this on Christmas eve. It's the "A Little Bit Shorter Tall Tree" by Cindi Edgerton pattern. It was pieced on my 503 and quilted on my Juki 2200 QVP Mini.

Thanks for looking

No problem with your photo. I find it happens often that it may appear sideways but then when you click on the photo to see it in a larger form, it flips to upright. Keep posting your photos. We love photos!

I made the big one, it's paper pieced and turned out great. I gave it to my best friend and she hangs in on her wall every year, she never puts up a tree.
