Default A few finishes..somewhat

I haven’t tried uploading pictures in this new format yet, so bear with me! The 25 patch is my version of a past picture submission by a member here, sorry, I will include the name in my next post as I am afraid of this disappearing if I veer away to find the source! I had a couple partial jelly rolls I wanted to use up. Wishing it would have included more dark brights. The purple one is from the Modern Quilt Guild website, a free pattern. Both will join other filmsys that are homeless at this point. Thanks for looking!

Nice job. I like your sashing and borders on the first one.

Love the colors and the hour glass block used with the piano key border. The second quilt looks very tech-y. Like a poster in some kind of computor language. Cool.

Glad you rejoined us. Love the 25 patch and it was a great idea to use up those jelly rolls. I need to do something similar as I have probably 10 sitting in a drawer waiting to see the light of day. Like your purple one too and it looks like a great lap quilt size. I'm always looking for quick charity quilts and that may fit the bill. Thanks.

Beautiful work! I especially like the dark blue and green color combination. They are all beautiful gifts!

I really like the sashing of the 25 patch too. I intend to make a quilt using that style sashing...still on the bucket list Haha!

They are both Great! I love how you worked your larger patches with the smaller 9 patches and the border is perfect for this masterpiece. Now the purple one took me by a grand surprise! I was taken aback by it's simplicity. Yet it stand out as a modern piece of art. And yes you made it into the picture area of the new format. Congratulations on this accomplishment.
