ok some people may get offended and it is not my intention to do so but 3 of my older grandsons are civilwar buffs. They wanted Rebel Flags. So I made one a quillow and two of them got quilts. Here is the quillow. bruno is his nickname. The other is a dophin quillow for my SIL that same christmas. Alright enough for now. Thankyou. Bill'sBonBon

My sister is a civil war buff too. I don't see why anyone should be offended as it was part of our history. Did you see the post Loretta did of a diary from that time period? The prices of fabrics and such were so much higher then I thought!

ETA:Oh yeah, meant to say lovely work too!

yes they did,I made them for Christmas 2004 the year I retired. Bruno will not go spend the night anywhere without his. I have repaired it several times. He keeps putting his feet into the pouch. I told him I would make him another and it would be a quilt,his reponse,Why nanny,whats wrong with this one. It really amazed me how the 5 boys took to those quillows and quilts. Bill'sBonBon

I'm not offended, its not something I would display but i can say you did an EXCELLENT job on them! So long as your grandsons like them, thats all thats important!!
