triangle. By twisting the triangle, you get the pinwheel effect.

This pattern used to be on the opening of the HGTV show, Simply Quilts. I printed it out a few YEARS ago. I used brights since it's for my teenager.

Those are incredible. Your dragon looks like something Disney would have come up with. Love it! I have never seen a modified log cabin. Stunning! Where would I find a pattern for that?

I love them both! I watched the modified log cabin on simply quilts and it still looks like a miracle to me that it works the way it does. Your colors are so vivid and the dragon is just too adorable for words!

quiltwoman, I'm amazed! I love both of these. I can't wrap my head around the modified log cabin..I can't see to figure it out even though you said to twist the triangles...hmmmm..I'll have to google that.

    Love your dragon also

I loved them both. I can't begin to guess how you made the modified log cabin.

I suppose someone is going to tell me "it's easy." But, I don't get it.

Something I'd like to do is a colorwash. People tell me "that's easy" too. But, I don't get it.

It's only easy after I've done it a hundred times. Then it's easy. Until then, it's impossible.
