These are a few of the quilts/wall hangings I've made since starting to quilt in 1986. After 1991 I had to put quilting on hold till recently, & now I'm able to try to resume my love of it.

    #1 A Log Cabin - My 1st quilt 1986
    #2 Lone Star - 1987
#3 Double Wedding Ring Wall hanging - 1987
    #4 & 4a Windmill Wall hanging - 1988
    #5 TX Bluebonnet wall hanging - 1990

Such nice work, I like all of them. I noticed your quilting on the windmill pic, very clever.

Wonderful! Welcome back! The quilting world has changed a bit in the last 20 years! So many fun tools to make it quick and easy, and so much free information and patterns online!

Thanks, yes I'm finding my way around the boards & they are great. You're so right about all the "tools" out there today. Probably the last "gadget" I got when active was the rotary cutter & board. I thought those were WONDERFUL. One of the new ones thou, I will not be interested in is the LA machines - to me there will never be anything to match the old fashioned HAND QUILTING. The world is hectic enough & I enjoy the calm, slower pace of sitting at a frame. (I've worked out a lot of lifes conflicts in my mind & had some good "therapy" during some bad times while quilting.

Have a blessed week end.

THANKS SO MUCH - already I feel at home - this is a wonderful group, but then don't all quilters give out those "warm, cozy, welcome" feelings. You need to be a caring, giving person to be crazy enough to be hooked on quilting.

have a blessed week end -
