I really love your quilts. I vote for multiple borders on the third quilt to frame the busyness. My favorite is the second picture.

Love the quilts!
I would also use a narrow border on the third one just to tie it all together.
A nice dark color from the quilt would work.

What a wonderful border of blue surrounding the second one. It really sets the whole quilt off.

Both are absolutely gorgeous with wonderful workmanship! Good going, Don! If the second quilt were mine, I'd probably just put a solid color border on it so the eye knows it's "finished." Hope that makes sense. Merry Christmas!
