That is a touching story. I am glad you kept at it and finished the quilt. It would have been so sad to let something that nice just go unfinished.

This is one of the reasons this board is so great. Between the PIF's and generosity of others, we able to impact someone by our action or words. Thanks SOOO much for sharing and I would love to bundle up in your wonderful quilt.

This is will a treasure for Michael for so many reasons. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story!! What the world could learn from quilters ;we would have such a wonderful and caring world!!

Wow...what a gift...not only the quilt for your son, but the gift of this board and the people on it, right?!! So grateful for everybody on here and it's stories like this one that keep me so inspired and coming back here everyday!!!

Aww, I'm misty eyed too! The quilt is beautiful (I love the pattern) and Sherryl's work is the perfect finishing touch. You both do great work! Now you need to post a picture of you and Michael with the quilt! Hugs right back atcha.

And a hug for your inspector too! LOL. Mine is about the same size and color. When she is fresh from her bath, anyhow. Otherwise we call her "Pigpen". :wink:
