YEAH!!! Just in time for Mike's birthday tomorrow. My husband is an avid boater and prefers a bigger than lap quilt size.

These are the nautical flags which represent the letters of the alphbet 'A to Z'.

It has taken me almost 2 months. I used a pattern in the book "Quilts for Men". I modified that pattern to make it longer by adding Mike's initials in flags on the last row. I also added a 2 inch yellow border. On the back I used a creme colored world map. The yellow strip in the center is for signing. It just so happens we have rented a house for a couple of weeks to go scalloping and our front door will be revolving. Lot of family and friends will be dropping in on us so I want everyone to sign his quilt for his birthday.

Pictures are blurry because they were taken with an IPOD. Husband has my nice camera.

Amazon link for the book. I know I always want the name of your patterns for all the beautiful quiilts I see on here.

Yellow strip for all to sign!
