Default Kaffe Fassett BOM QUilt

This a BOM quilt from a local quilt store. It was way out of my comfort zone as far as the color but came out really well. The background is a purplish grunge which at the time I thought was ghastly but now that the quilt it complete, the choice of the grunge was an excellent choice.

I finished this up and it will be a Christmas gift for my daughter.

The quilting was done with a great edge to edge with variegated thread.

and the backing is a wild Kaffe fabric ... and - OBTW - there is a seam right down the middle of that picture!!

I didn't know Kaffe Fassett did BOMs! Betty, your quilt is gorgeous and your daughter is a lucky girl!

Thanks you - It was not actually a Kaffe BOM bit a local Quilt Shop that used all Kaffe fabrics in their BOM.

Great quilt and the bright blocks really pop on the grunge background! Really good job matching the print on the back!
