    My daughter picked up her quilt today. This is my first attempt at fmq. Plenty of mistakes, but looks like she loves it anyway. Was really heavy, filled it with a double layer of batting. Don't ask me why I thought that would be a good idea. Half was through the quilting I realized what a crazy idea that was. Oh well lesson learned

    That is just lovely! Let us know how it does with the double batting...interesting idea. I almost did one of mine that way..If I had had enough at the time I would have.
