Beautiful job and thanks for the invite to the picnic. What fun! A beautiful view to sit and enjoy on those terrific chair pads.

Is this wine making going on? Yummm

And the 'bacon fat' in the pan? How do you serve this?

I can't remember what it is called from so many years ago but at picnics there was always a piece of bacon fat that was dipped in to a concoction of chopped onion, garlic, red & green pepper and parsley, I think. We would take a piece of hardy bread dipped in the hot fat and spoon on the veggies. Delicious. What great memories! Thanks for sharing.
