I just love it. The muslin gives it such a homey feel. I must try that.

Love your stairs for your pup. Looking to make one for my older dog so he an enjoy my quilts (and bed) with me.

Such a nice quilt. Your SIL will absolutely love it. And what a great tribute to her Mother too. I am still learning, but how do you take something someone started and know what to do with it to make it look so beautiful?? What if someone gave you a few blocks, but you needed a few more to complete a quilt, how would you replicate the blocks so they would look the same? I am self taught in sewing and sure not that good at it yet, but I love it. Wish I had more time to put into it.
