First of all "Hello" from Davenport, Iowa!!
You did a wonderful job on the Irish Chain quilt and glad to see you are back in the swing of things again. Look forward to seeing some of your other finishes.

One of my favorite patterns. Large blocks or small blocks, single double or triple chains they are always lovely. Your finish is marvelous. And the quilting? What more can be said: excellent, simple and it adds to the finished quilt.

THis was my 1st and only Irish chain I've done. I just checked to see how much yardage from scraps and a bit of yardage I used up and was surprised but the quilt is over 100x100 so maybe it's correct. I used my EQ8 program to generate the yardage and it came out to being over 11 yards without counting the backing. Wish it would have made a dent in my fabric but it didn't seem to.

Linda Schipper, just how far away is Davenport anyway? I'm not all that familiar with Iowa. I did put together 4 more quilts last month which will be quilted in the next month or 2. The yardage from them all plus the Irish Chain came up to over 43 yards not counting my backings since they're not quilted yet. Can't wait to get to them.
