Great Job :thumbup: Your daughters looks perfect on her bed :lol: I can see why she claimed it . Love the color turquoise so I would steal that one :wink:

The quilts are both lovely and each suit the furnishings in the respective bedrooms. The white in the quilt and the white furniture in your daughter's room are a perfect match.

The sashing is actually 3 pieces - dk. brown strips outside the stripe and then the cream block is added at the end. Did that help? The pattern is out of a magazine. Copied even the fabric because I fell in love with it.

It is actually a lime green batik. I was so sick of working with the dupioni that I switched to batik for the sashing and inner border. The outer border is the dupioni. I had purchased the silk dupioni in lime green but it sits still in a drawer unused.
